Due to the speakers not being able to travel to San Francisco, the November 18 and December 9 Arts of Asia lectures will be given as Zoom webinars only.

Change of Speaker & Topic of November 4 Arts of Asia Lecture
Due to a death in the family, the original speaker for this Friday's Arts of Asia lecture is not able to give the
Nov. 4 & Nov. 11 Arts of Asia Lectures in Koret instead of Samsung
At the request of the museum, we have moved the November 4 and November 11 Arts of Asia lectures from Samsung Hall to Koret Education Center on the first floor of the museum.
You can still attend these lectures on Zoom as usual.

Oct. 15 Upper Category Member Event - Jenifer K Wofford: Make/Teach
This Upper Category Member Event is a very special opportunity to hear the exciting San Francisco artist Jenifer Wofford talk about her work (such as her mural currently displayed on the Hyde Street side of the Museum) and how she has been influenced by Carlos Villa.
She will be speaking in the Museum's Koret Education Center on Saturday, October 15 at 10:30 a.m.
If you are a Society Upper Category member and you did not register in advance, we encourage you to drop-in on the event on Saturday.
Meet Author Vanessa Hua and Hear about Her Latest Book, Forbidden City
The Society for Asian Art is excited to host San Francisco Bay Area author and columnist Vanessa Hua on Saturday, October 8 at 10:30 a.m. for an in-person presentation on her latest novel, Forbidden City.
We urge you to take advantage of this unique opportunity to meet a local luminary. Please spread the word and invite your friends to this interesting and delightful event!
