An Afternoon with Dr. Jinah Kim of Harvard University
Upper Category members of the Society are cordially invited to an intimate gathering to welcome the Arts of Asia lecturer, Dr. Jinah Kim.
Dr. Kim received her PhD from UC Berkeley and is a professor of South and Southeast Asian Art at Harvard University. Following her Arts of Asia lecture on April 1st, titled Ancient Empires and Art of South Asia Beyond the Ganges, she will share with us some insight into her latest publication, Garland of Vision: Color, Tantra and a Material History of Indian Painting. This promises to be a rich conversation opportunity for anyone interested in South Asian art.
We hope you will join us for this first in-person Upper Category event in more than two years!
- Light refreshments will be served.
- Exact address will be provided to participants closer to the event.
- Participation is limited to 15 people on a first come first serve basis.
- Proof of COVID vaccination including booster shot and a photo ID are required to attend.
