Visit to Farrow Fine Art Gallery & Studios
Society for Asian Art and Asian Art Museum are separate non-profit organizations with separate memberships. Please use the appropriate registration buttons to register for Society programs.
Join us for a visit to the work and exhibition spaces of father and son team, Al and Erik Farrow.
Come see Al’s celebrated series of sculptures, Reliquaries, using deconstructed military ordnance to produce spectacular pieces representing the architecture of churches, mosques and synagogues. The sculptures are beautiful, shocking and profound. He has exhibited at museums and galleries around the world.
Erik’s gallery, Farrow Fine Art Gallery, exhibits antique tribal art from Indonesia, Oceania, Africa and the Americas. Ritual and primitive power as well as beauty, abound in the objects in his gallery.
After the visit, there will be a no-host supper at Lotus Cuisine of India at 812 4th Street in downtown San Rafael.
Please note that the gallery is on multiple levels and some stairs are involved.
Registration Policies
The Society for Asian Art's cancellation policy requires at least one week's advance written notice in order to receive a refund of registration fees. This excludes our Travel programs, which have separate cancellation policies, as well as any programs where a specific refund policy is stated on the event page. Your fees will be returned to you through a check in the mail. To cancel, please contact us.
For programs located within the Asian Art Museum, the museum entrance fee must be paid separately and is not included with your registration fee.
Please note that by registering for a program, you are giving consent to the SAA to be photographed or videoed as a participant.
