Visit to the Anderson Collection at Stanford
The Director of the Anderson Collection, Jason Linetzky, will lead members on a tour of the newly opened Anderson Collection, a $36 million American art museum at Stanford. Modern and contemporary American paintings and sculptures are on display in the distinctive Richard Olcott-designed building. Members can tour the neighboring Cantor Museum in the morning on their own, before our tour. Cantor's current exhibits include: Drama of Heaven and Earth: the Theatrical Traditions of Japan andShifting Currents: Highlights from the 20th Century Chinese Collection. Parking is available along Museum Way and Lomita Drive or at the parking structure on Roth Way.
