Ms. Terese Bartholomew Conversation
During her 39 years at the Asian Art Museum, Ms. Bartholomew has published in the fields of Chinese, Himalayan and Indian art while organizing many exhibitions. She was the museum’s first curator of Indian and Southeast Asian art and has also served as the curator of Chinese decorative and Himalayan art. This is a wonderful opportunity to get up close and personal with the famed author of Hidden Meanings in Chinese Art and to exchange thoughts with her about the museum’s 50th anniversary, the special exhibition Emperors’ Treasures and more. Ms. Bartholomew received her M.A. in History of Chinese Art from the University of California, Los Angeles.
