Curated Tour: Dual Natures in Ceramics: Eight Contemporary Artists from Korea
Contemporary Korean artists have long grappled with the interplay of modernization and tradition. Some artists are inspired by the styles rooted in the Joseon dynasty to create modern masterpieces. Timothy O'Brien, the curator for Exhibitions at the SFO Museum, will lead us in exploring this dynamism. This exhibition is co-organized by the Asian and the San Francisco Airport Museum. Eight artists are featured in this show.
After the visit we will go for a Chinese dim sum lunch in Millbrae, one easy BART stop from the airport.
