2023 Annual Meeting & Reception
The Society For Asian Art’s Annual Meeting and Reception will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 3:30 p.m. in Samsung Hall, Asian Art Museum.

The keynote lecture, Two Giants of Asian American Art: Carlos Villa & Martin Wong, will be given by Mark Johnson, a Professor Emeritus of Art at San Francisco State University (SFSU) with areas of expertise in Asian American art history and California and Bay Area art history. He served as the director of the Fine Arts Gallery on the SFSU campus. He is also an Asian American Art Initiative Advisor at Stanford University.
Invitations were sent to SAA members with RSVP instructions on May 1, 2023.
Registration Policies
The Society for Asian Art's cancellation policy requires at least one week's advance written notice in order to receive a refund of registration fees. This excludes our Travel programs, which have separate cancellation policies, as well as any programs where a specific refund policy is stated on the event page. Your fees will be returned to you through a check in the mail. To cancel, please contact us.
For programs located within the Asian Art Museum, the museum entrance fee must be paid separately and is not included with your registration fee.
Please note that by registering for a program, you are giving consent to the SAA to be photographed or videoed as a participant.
