Spring 2024 Arts of Asia Lecture Schedule Changes

New Dates for Last Two Lectures of Spring 2024 Arts of Asia

To accommodate the speakers' schedules, we have rescheduled the last two lectures of the spring lecture series to May 31 and June 7. Please mark these dates in your calendars.

No Lectures on March 29, April 12, May 3, May 10, May 17, and May 24

Please be reminded that there is no lecture this Friday, March 29. Please do not come to the Asian Art Museum.

The next lecture will be on Friday, April 5, Wang Dongling and Calligraphic Practice in Contemporary Art with Prof. Julia Andrews of The Ohio State University. See you then in person in Samsung Hall or on Zoom.

In addition, due to various scheduling changes, there will be no lecture on April 12, May 3, May 10, May 17, and May 24.

April 19 Speaker Change

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the original speaker will not be able to give a lecture. Jeff Durham, Curator of Himalayan Art at the Asian Art Museum, has graciously agreed to give a lecture on this date.

June 7 Lecture on Zoom

The speaker for the last lecture on June 7 will be presenting the lecture on Zoom. We plan to broadcast the Zoom webinar for those who would like to watch it in the museum.
