SAA’s Scandinavian Summer Tour: Stockholm, Gothenburg and Copenhagen
Preceded by a ‘Medieval Weekend’ on the island of Gotland

This trip will open for online registration in early February, and sign-ups will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Please be on the lookout for an email with the trip flyer and reservation instructions.

Scandinavia - often associated with Viking legends and modern design - seems an improbable destination for the pursuit of great collections of Asian art. Yet countless Swedish and Danish archaeologists, missionaries, diplomats, and private individuals have donated objects to collections in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Cophenhagen, where this tour will take members of the Society for Asian Art this coming summer. Expect an eye-opening, edifying, and entertaining experience!
