Arts of Asia Lectures Return to Samsung Hall Starting March 4, 2022
As we return to Samsung Hall to greet friends in-person once again, we will observe additional safety precautions. Your attendance at these in-person lectures constitutes your agreement to present proof of full COVID vaccination including booster shot and a photo ID, and that you will always wear a mask over your nose and mouth.
Lectures will be broadcast simultaneously on Zoom. We will start promptly at 10:30 a.m. and end promptly at 12:30 p.m. Pacific Time.
Please arrive early and use the Samsung Hall main entrance at the top of the stairs to check in. If you use the elevator to Samsung Hall or the entrances from the 2nd floor galleries, please proceed to the Samsung Hall main entrance for check in. Since we are not issuing lecture series tickets, you will be checked against a master list of registered attendees and asked to present proof of COVID vaccination including booster shot and a photo ID each time you attend a lecture in Samsung Hall.
Chairs will be spaced apart to encourage social distancing, and no food or beverages will be allowed in Samsung Hall.
Assisted Listening Devices that are cleaned after each use will be available for those who need them. Please pick up at the AV station inside Samsung Hall to the left of the main entrace.
For the Q&A, we will not be passing a microphone around Samsung Hall. Instead, audience members are asked to write questions on index cards available at the Samsung Hall main entrance. Please bring your own pen or pencil. Arts of Asia Committee members will pick up cards during the break and at the end of the lecture. Zoom attendees will submit questions by using the Zoom Q&A feature. Arts of Asia Committee members will pose the questions to the speaker.
Please tell friends who did not sign up for the lecture series that they may attend individual lectures as a drop-in attendee as space allows. The drop-in fee is $25 per person.
The Arts of Asia Committee looks forward to seeing you in Samsung Hall.
