Visit to Rena Bransten Gallery With Hung Liu

Instructor:
Hung Liu
When:
May 13, 2017
Time:
2:30-4pm
Place:
Rena Bransten Gallery, 1275 Minnesota Street, San Francisco
Fee:
$15 Society members, $20 non-members. This event is full--if you would like to be placed on the waitlist please contact the SAA office.

We will visit this well-known gallery in the Minnesota Street Project, a recently-developed area specializing in art galleries, and tour the newly-opened exhibition of Bay Area artist and SAA friend Hung Liu. The Hung Liu: Promised Land exhibition includes new paintings and works on paper, based on photographs by American photographer Dorothea Lange. We are honored that Hung Liu herself will be there to guide us and talk about her work on display. If you have not been to this neighborhood before, it’s also a good opportunity to visit other galleries in this recently-opened art complex.

Wine and nibbles will be served.
